Event Details
You're invited to our next social event at West End Art Space, on Tuesday the 14th of April!
West End Art Space was established in 2017 to exhibit a broad spectrum of Australian and International art, in the gallery and online. Its vision fits that of an independent commercial art gallery and community space, where all people can freely enjoy and experience art.
Gallery Founder and Director Anna Prifti has built a stable that represents the work of both emerging and established artists, with a definite focus on all collectible living artists, with a demonstrated exhibition history.
Cut and Composed is a major group show, centered on collage as an artistic form. Bringing together 40 artists, including local, interstate, and international, this exhibition aims to showcase the breadth of the medium and celebrate its uniqueness.
Over 90 artworks are on display, and the diversity of styles and techniques highlights the versatility of collage as an artistic expression, from surreal and abstract creations to narrative-driven works and politically charged pieces. Cut and Composed invites viewers to explore the layers of meaning embedded within each artwork and to appreciate the skillful craftsmanship required to transform disparate elements into cohesive compositions. Join us in celebrating the potential of collage.
Curated by Lora Adzic.
Sponsored by Bodriggy Brewing.
For our event, we have private access to the gallery space after-hours to browse and chat. Catering from local restaurants will be provided.
Come along and catch up with your City Precinct colleagues, reconnecting with familiar faces and making new connections.
