Lunch and Learn Monthly Social event at the Immigration Museum and Miss Siam Thai Restaurant

In 2023 more than half of all Australians were born overseas, or have parent who was. We have different backgrounds and life experiences, but we all believe in our shared values based on freedom, respect, fairness and equality of opportunity.

With the theme this year being 'Everyone belongs, Harmony day reminds us to appreciate everyone, regardless of their cultural or linguistic background.

In response to member demand, we are offering a more variety of event times for our member events. Please come along for a Thai lunch at our member Miss Siam at 12:30pm, and then following on a tour of the Immigration Museum at 2:30pm. You are welcome to attend one or both of the events.

Through its rich collections, exhibitions, events, education programs and digital content, the Immigration Museum explore themes of migration, identity, citizenship and community through multiple perspectives. It engage with communities and creative practitioners to produce powerful opportunities for social interaction, empathy and debate. Melbourne has a rich history of immigration and many of our City Precinct members hail from all around the world.
